Farm Produce Market is something new and invigorating on the Fleurieu Peninsula where all fresh and local produce can be tried, tasted and bought in a lavish display in marquees on the lawn area of the winery.

The Victor Harbor Winery hosts the Farm Produce Market on the first Sunday of each month from 9am to 1pm. Breakfast and lunch is available, or just coffee and cake.

Each month a guest chef will appear at the market, and where possible, local produce will be incorporated in the menu. Adrienne and Neville Scott are proud of this new initiative and their grandson Jonathon Kemble, who was Australian Apprentice of the Year and Australian Junior Chef of the Year, is their inspiration.

This new market will see the great produce from the district showcased in marquees on the picturesque cellar door area. For more information contact Adrienne and Neville Scott on 08 8554 6504.

Your first stop is Beach Organics, a stunning certified organic farm in the hills behind historic Port Elliot. Collect herbs and vegies from the Barry’s garden and then gather around the hand built wood oven to create and cook your own flat breads and share breakfast pizzas.

On to Victor Harbor Winery, in Hindmarsh Valley. Enjoy local meats and artisan goat cheeses prepared by 2007 Chef of the Region, Dustin Rodgers. You will be one of the first to try the winery’s new release wines matched to Dustin’s dishes. In between courses you will be treated to a cheese making session by Denise Riches of Hindmarsh Valley Diary.
